5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
It’s the new year. 2019 will be full of blessings, hardships, joys, and challenges alike, but God’s got you this year!
10 days into 2019, it may seem like you’re dipping your feet into the waters of new things. You’ve probably written down resolutions and goals and have an idea of who you want to be this year, but don’t know how to dive in and start making this year the best one yet.

God created the entire world, galaxy, universe, with his own two hands. Every small detail He placed on this earth serves a purpose in His amazing plan.
You are part of that plan! You are one of those details! God has an amazing plan for your life. If you trust in Him and obey him, you can help that happen.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
God has a purpose for us, even when it feels like we don’t belong or we don’t matter. Even when the world won’t accept us, or make us feel like we belong, God will.
I hope you enjoyed this mini-devotional! Stay tuned for more ways to stand firm in your faith!

Hi everybody! I’m back with another VOTW. Here’s the verse for this week!
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
Ephesians 4:2 is basically saying that if we treat everyone with kindness and patience, then we won’t get frustrated by other’s faults — and trust me, we have plenty of those ourselves. Do you have someone who annoys you? *every single person on the face of the Earth raises their hand* If you a patient to them, then maybe they won’t be so annoying to you. Don’t pray to change them — that won’t get you anywhere. Instead, pray to God to help you be humble and patient to the person who gets under your hair so they won’t be annoying — in your opinion, at least.
Can you even believe that we’ve been doing Verse of the Week for a whole entire month?? I just think that’s crazy. Read on to find out what this week’s verse is.

Hello, lovelies! Let me introduce myself. I’m Natalie Therese, one of the newbie co-authors here on SFMF. I’m really happy to be making my first post here! Today’s verse is Ephesians 4:2.
What does this verse mean? Let me use an example from my life; I have several little siblings. They can be REALLY irritating at times, even when they don’t mean to. It’s really tempting to yell/glare/make angry noises at them. But that’s not what God wants us to do. Instead of glaring at my little siblings, I should be smiling at them, and helping them. That’s what God is telling us in this verse.
