Verse of the Week // Week 4

Can you even believe that we’ve been doing Verse of the Week for a whole entire month?? I just think that’s crazy. Read on to find out what this week’s verse is.

Ephesians 3:16-19

16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

This is one of my most favorite verses of all time!! This verse tells us that God will give you the strength that you need to battle the everyday trials and temptations of this world. And when you trust in Him, and accept Him in to your heart, then you will be made new, and The Spirit will guide you. God will give you strength and keep you strong. God’s love is so unconditional, so beautiful, so deep, so long, so far, and so wide that us humans just simply cannot comprehend it. But one day, we will see the shining face of our Lord God, and we will be filled with understanding of His Unconditional Love for us.

See you on Wednesday for a post about why cursing/swearing is a bad idea! In the meantime, enjoy the upcoming posts from the other SFMF authors!
